Mariska Hargitay's documentary 'My Mom Jayne' could earn the star her first Oscar nomination.
The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively report that Hargitay's documentary about her late mother Jayne Mansfield has qualified for Oscar contention thanks to a theatrical run in the Los Angeles area the week before it premiered on HBO June 27th.
Hargitay and company are committed to giving the doc a real grassroots push this awards season.
