Badenoch: Govt has no plan to reduce small boat crossings

Kemi Badenoch says the Conservative Party's immigration policies are "much tighter" than before and that exit checks are needed.

The party leader's comments come after a cross-party committee of MPs said the Home Office had failed to check whether foreign workers were leaving the UK or staying to work illegally.

She adds that small boat crossings have increased under Labour and "everything is getting worse".
