Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer pledges to make the UK ‘battle ready” as he announces plans for new investment in defence.
Speaking to workers in Glasgow, Scotland, Starmer says, “what you’ve delivered is a blueprint to make Britain safer and stronger – a battle ready armour-clad nation with the strongest alliances”.
