Billy Joel cancels all tour dates following brain disorder diagnosis.
The legendary singer announced the official cancelation of all upcoming shows in a post to social media earlier today, stating 'Billy Joel has announced that he will be cancelling all scheduled concerts following a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH).
This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance.
Under his doctor's instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.'
The news comes just months after Joel suffered a fall during a concert at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut this past February.
Joel spoke directly to fans within the statement, expressing his disappointment over the cancellations, writing 'I'm sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience, and thank you for understanding.'
The Devil Wears Prada sequel sets May 2026 release date.
The film was confirmed to be in the works at Disney last July with Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt reported to be returning as Miranda Priestly and Emily Charlton, however an official cast list has yet to be announced by the studio.
Despite official confirmation, cast members such as Stanley Tucci and Anne Hathaway have since publicly expressed their interest in a reunion.
The sequel to the 2006 hit comedy will make its debut on May 1, 2026, just shy of 20 years after the original film's premiere.
The announcement came as Disney revealed a slew of theatrical release dates for many of their upcoming, highly anticipated projects.
Justin Baldoni legal team drops Taylor Swift subpoena in Blake Lively dispute.
News of the dropped subpoena was confirmed by reps for Lively on Thursday, accusing Baldoni's legal team of exploiting Swift for clickbait, referring to the summons as inappropriate.
The pop star's name was first brought up in the lawsuit back in January, when Baldoni claimed that she and Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, pressured him into accepting a rewrite of the script for It Ends With Us.
While promoting the film prior to its theatrical debut, Lively often spoke of Swift's involvement and support throughout the production process, but aside from permitting the use of her 2020 hit song 'My Tears Ricochet,' team Swift has claimed that the singer had no further involvement in creating the movie.
