US military on February 3 announced that it had conducted airstrikes on Iranian and affiliated targets in Iraq and Syria.
Over 85 targets were hit.
These included command and control centres, intelligence centres, and weapons depots, as per US Central Command.
The operation even involved the flying of long-range bomber planes from America.
