After refusing to reinstate our original, pre-Covid speaking time of five minutes for public comment, the board continues to dig in their heels to cut speakers off at three minutes and will proceed to shut down the meeting and ceremoniously walk out of the chambers if a speaker goes “over time”.
They also cut out about 30 or 40 seconds when Cynthia Joy was calling for Diana Driess to come back and not walk out of the room after being treated so abusively by these board members.
Any editing of audio and video by the county clerk of the board is against the law when posting meeting results.
