Our nation’s government narrowly avoided a shutdown this past weekend, with Republicans and Democrats striking a last minute budget deal.
The Democrats have decried that Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy broke his word, changing the terms of a bipartisan deal that were reached just weeks ago.
Now McCarthy’s own party members, specifically Florida Representative Matt Gaetz, are also calling him a liar.
