The 81-year-old revealed the news on the 'Today' show on May 15.
As she saw her cover photo for the first time on live TV, Stewart said that although she was "sort of shaking," she liked the picture.
The lifestyle guru went on to say that it was "odd" to have her picture taken while wearing a swimsuit "in front of all those people," but everything "turned out OK.".
