Sir Keir Starmer says despite voting for remain in the Brexit referendum, he "can't disagree with the basic case that lots of leave voters made" to him.

The Labour leader likens their "frustrations" at Westminster and their "yearning for opportunities" to those who voted for Scottish independence in 2014.

Starmer is speaking in Leeds, unveiling plans for a "new Britain".
