TROUBLING Details On Yoke NIL - The Platform Running Ann Arbor NIL Club | Michigan Football Rumors

Michigan Football Report: James Yoder investigates the brand new company running the Ann Arbor NIL Club - a digital media-driven entity geared at providing Michigan football fans a platform to donate money towards 2022 Michigan football players in a ‘legal’ manner under Name, Image and Likeness.

On the surface, this seems like a great idea, but under the surface,Yoder uncovers some troubling financial terms and contract language that puts members of Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines team in danger of being locked into a contract longer than they may realize and losing out on potentially millions in predatory ‘fees’ that Yoke and founders Mick Assaf and Nic Weishar, both former Notre Dame football players who graduated high school in 2016 and 2014 respectively, charge student-athletes as part of their push for athlete-led ‘NIL collectives’.
