Joshua Crane was cycling near Napa, California on June 14 when he heard something screaming nearby.
Upon closer inspection, the ex-hunter turned vegan found a baby deer trapped in a wire fence.
Joshua didn't think twice and carefully freed the animal - only for it to go into a frenzy and get stuck again.
