Two Young Children Rescued After Being Lost in Amazon

Two young brothers who were lost in the Amazon for almost 4 weeks have finally been found.

The boys, who CNN says are ages 7 and 9, are members of Brazil’s Indigenous Mura people.

They had gotten lost in the Amazon while hunting in February and survived on rainwater, river water, and wild fruit.

Rescue efforts to locate them had included more than 260 people.

The boys were found by a farmer on a nut plantation who heard the older boy’s cries.

They’ve been airlifted to a Brazilian hospital where both remain in serious but stable condition.
