Pickup on South Street is a 1953 Cold War spy film noir written and directed by Samuel Fuller, and released by the 20th Century Fox studio.
The film stars Richard Widmark, Jean Peters, and Thelma Ritter.[4] It was screened at the Venice Film Festival in 1953.
In 2018, Pickup on South Street was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
