Riz Ahmed and director Bassam Tariq collaborated on the story for their new film "Mogul Mowgli" which stars Ahmed as a British-Pakistani rapper who faces setbacks after he is diagnosed with a debilitating illness.
Ahmed says he feels like his personal journey and background are validated the more people you have to collaborate with and trust that your story is one worth telling.
