These were the crazy scenes in Nottingham where hundreds of England fans played catch with a large bin after emptying it of its glass content on the Old Market Square in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire police officers were seen confiscating the bin but were then attacked with glass bottles and other heavy objects.

The crowd then began chanting "We want our bin back!".

It's not believed any officers were hurt during the exchange despite glass bottles being shown to smash around them.
