In the video, shot in the county of Madoi in Qinghai Province on May 23, a rescuer used a shovel to dig the mud away and then a group of people pulled a trapped animal out of the earthquake fissure together.

Fissures occurred in the villagers' grassland after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck Madoi County on May 22.

Cattle and a horse reportedly fell into the earthquake fissures and became trapped.

Police saved all three trapped animals.
