Police in park city utah say burnett died after he went off the trail at a resort while snowboarding and hit a tree.
His family says in his obituary that burnett had a huge heart... was kind to everyone and love spending time with his family, friends and his dogs.
They also say they find a small amount of comfort knowing he died doing something that he loved... snowboarding.
