The department was one of many agencies that responded to little wall lake near jewell last weekend when a boat that had 5 iowa state students on it capsized.

Firefighter jim sholly says having this kind of equipment is an important life?

"*saving asset to have for other communities to use ?

"* not just "this is a piece of equipment that we'll bring to surrounding counties and communities if there's an accident that happens.

We pray it never does, but we know it will, but we're willing to travel and help out at those."

Sholly credits the hanson foundation and community foundation of northeast iowa for grants to help with the cost.
