A Jenkins Road resident wants the city to clean out a creek to end constant flooding in neighborhoods since last year's torando.

Are concerned about constant flooding in their neighborhood.

Richard bocaim tells news 12 that since last year's tornado on easter, a creek behind his home is more prone to flooding the nearby streets and his neighbors' yards.

Recently, debris from trees and trash are scattered throughout his neighborhood.

Now, neighbors are concerned about how it'll affect the housing market.

"well every time it floods cars can't go down the street.

They're building a subdivision down the street.

I can't imagine it's making the property prices anymore attractive when the road floods every time it rains.

I just want it cleaned up and get the trees out of the creek so the water flows downstream properly."

Bocaim says he's contacted public works multiple times since january.
