Mocs Gear Up For Unusual Spring Season

Sounds kind of weird to say since it's february.

Chattanooga kicks off the socon spring season this saturday, as they host wofford.

U-t-c is now scheduled for seven socon games thru april.

Chattanooga head coach rusty wright has been calling it a winter season, adding it sure doesn't feel like spring for many of the mocs morning workouts.

Wright:"last tuesday i think it was 15 or 16 degrees tuesday morning.

Another day it was 20 or 25.

It comes to a point to where i'm not sure how well the concentration level has been as much as just trying to fight to stay warm while you're out here doing things."

Reporter:"does this feel like an historic season?"

Wright:"i don't know about historic.

It's unusual.

How bout that.

I wouldn't say historic.
