Utility companies says in many cases.... the damage caused by the storms was so extensive... that whole power line sections are being rebuilt.
Crews say they are also dealing with new outages... as ice and snow melts off tree limbs.... causing them to snap back and hit power lines.
They say a majority of customers should have their power restored by wednesday.... but for some... it may not be until friday.
