He says he's still afraid to go outside of his door.
He plans on getting the vaccine when it's available to him..
All to help ease his mind a little.
Eveland has been a terre haute resident for all 59 years of his life.
He says he's had to shut down his lawn care service when the pandemic first began.
He's looking forward to getting the vaccine..
Especially since his 75 year old wife already got her first dose.
He told me he hasn't even gotten a hair-cut since last march due to his fear of contracting covid-19.
"because i'd be more comfortable and more safer.
Cause i don't want to be around somebody else whose sick and then i end up getting it.
I still got a few more years on me to.
I want to be around here as long as i can."
