Current conditions update just checked in with ema officials who tell me... jackson county emergency management director paul smith told me right now all roads there are passable.
He said, at least in jackson county, you should be okay to drive--- with extreme caution, especially on secondary roads.
"you know there's not supposed to be any more precipitation so at least we know where our trouble spots may be and we can address those."
Today jackson county public works spent a lot of the day restocking their brine.
Dekalb county and marshall county officials say right now they're also keeping an eye on slick spots in the road.
