BCSO credits community tips for 30+ drug-related arrests in 2021

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is crediting the community with helping put more than 30 people behind bars since the start of 2021.

Our top story tonight at 6: 32 in macon are now in custody after a drug bust investigation the bibb county sheriff's office began in january.

After serving search warrants at ten locations, the sheriff's office recovered marijuana, crack cocaine, poweder cocaine and pills worth over 17-thousand dollars, and 15-thousand dollars worth of money.

Sheriff david davis released a statment after the raid and said quote: "these raids would not have been possible without involvement from concerned citizens.

We encourage residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities and incidents of criminal behavior so that the sheriff's office can continue to address neighborhood crime
