Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited Kamakhya Temple in Assam's Guwahati on February 15.
He offered prayers at the temple.
State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also accompanied him.
The External Affairs Minister will attend various programmes in the state today.
Jaishankar is on a two-day visit to Assam.
