People were able to drive right up to the front of the church here and recieve bags of meat and canned goods to feed their families.

Pastor barry strong says when the church was shut down 14 months ago - it was the hardest experience he has ever been through in his entire life.

But despite a global pandemic - he says he was able to put around 1 hundred and 80 thousand dollars into renovating the church including a new roof and ceiling.

He says opening the church back up is like a new beginning - and church members are ready to help serve the community especially during the pandemic.

"it's very important during these times to serve when many can't serve, but many need to be served."

Pastor strong says right now because of the virus - they are limiting the number of people who can attend in person services.
