Michigan semi driver killed in early morning I-69 crash in Waterloo

A truck driver is dead after an early morning highway crash in DeKalb County Friday.

A michigan semi driver is dead after a crash in dekalb county this morning.

Dekalb county deputies say 62-year-old "michael modzelewski" was driving down i-69, when for an unknown reason drove off the road.

Investigators say the semi drove through the median without hitting the cable barrier....then continued through the impact barrels in front of the county road 28 overpass...crashing into the bridge support.

Deputies say modzelewski was trapped in the truck's cab.
