Kentucky state troopers are getting into the holiday spirit -- along with us.
They are holding their annual trooper teddy bear fundraiser .
They are asking shoppers -- to include a trooper bear -- among their christmas purchases -- this weekend.
The sales -- help provide bears to children -- needing the comfort of a friend.
"this is a great way for our troopers who respond to serious wrecks, domestic violences, or other type of assaults perhaps that could be inside of the house, that trooper could show up on the scene and have this teddy bear thats that one thing that that child could connect with, is something as simple as a bear -- and hopefully reduce the anxiety from that child."
The bears are 15-dollars and go on sale - online -- thanksgiving night.
