The vice president of the chamber of commerce told me these projects provide immediate jobs and help the city grow long term.

Pkg: lucia cape: "the investment and the jobs create revenue for the community, but these are good jobs for people here that we can move people into and recruit for, and so it increases the quality of life for people here" friday, the huntsville chamber of commerce announced that in 2020, 7 local companies expanded, and one located to the area.

The vice president of the chamber knows the coronavirus pandemic is hurting businesses and employees.

Lucia cape: "we hope this gives people some opportunity to either change careers or go into a different company with a skillset they already have because even though we know people are struggling and there are people who are out of work, there are opportunities out there."

Some of the jobs may be not require any previous experience, but.

"many of these jobs would be available with existing levels of experience or education."

Cape says these companies will be able to get the states assistance to train new employees.
