As covid-19 continues to impact the st.

Cap has closed one time before today to covid-19 infections with the staff....back when the pandemic started.

Joe with more on how staff are facing the challenge of moving forward while keeping everyone safe, ron?

The doors may be closed here at the community action partnership but staff say their programs are still running, albeit in different ways one of their biggest services, the head start program may have to go virtual due to a rise in positive cases among staff.

Staff say many of them have had to quarantine due to either direct exposure or feared exposure to covid-19.

Though cap staff recognize the challenge this pandemic is presenting them, they say they remain commited to offering their services for as long as they can.

"i think some of our main concerns are is making sure that we're dealing with on a daily basis are taken care of even struggling at the time to provide the make sure even though we're kind of at a handicap now and everybody is that we still making sure that the families that we're serving, kids are safe, families are safe and they have everything that they need" the office here along south 9th street is closed to the public now after those positive cases staff plan to reopen the building in two weeks.
