I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemies."

"it's nothing that i've ever experienced before.

You'll experience these moments of feeling a little bit better and you think that you've turned that corner only to an hour or two later you go back to where you were."

"just feeling like you've been hit by a truck.

I've had the flu before, i've had all sorts of things, but never where i've been like were talking about this before, we both said we just want to die."

The kennelly's said they did their best following all recommended guidelines *coughin* we were doing all the social distancing, making sure we were wearing masks and limiting our contacts, and we didn't see it coming that grayson's interactions with some teenage friends brought it into the house."

"some of my buddies or people that i couldve been around were not or did not practice social distancing or the safety techniques that are needed to really be done to prevent covid."

Grayson was experiencing symptoms - then his mom tested positive, and the next day so did grayson.

His father and sister also tested positive around the same time.

"it's honestly heartbreaking."

"the amount of virus that they transmit to you in the course of a conversation."

Butte county public health officer dr. bernstein says your first exposure to covid-19 determines how severe symptoms are.

"the more viral load you receive in that initial exposure the more likely, the disease will progress to a severe disease depending very much on that initial viral load."

And with so many people in grayson's age group contracting coronavirus, he has a warning for them.

"you don't know what it can do to the ones you love and the ones that you care about.

Like my parents here.

Something to take in and to realize that it's very serious."
