Families a place to live.
Tonight -- students at sparkman high school spent the evening honoring the lives lost on nine-eleven.
Students who are part of the young americas foundation gathered in front of the high school and placed 2,977 flags in the ground - the number of those who died in the attacks on america soil.
Teacher - bobby dolan - says it's important to remember what happened 19 years ago... "a lot of people don't realize that all the students who are currently here were born after september 11th, so it's key for them to see something like this and remember, not only the event, but the lives lost."
Dolan says all the flags were donated-- and students were required to wear masks and social distance
