Nick Montgomery, an artist from Fresno, CA, wanted to create something special after the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven other victims. After four months of hand cramping work, Nick created a portrait of written words taken from Kobe's past teammates, his Oscar-winning short film "Dear Basketball" and the moving speech Vanessa Bryant gave during his funeral.
What resulted was a work of art that's worth more than a thousand words.
