Going back... first tonight at -5- a deadly weekend shooting prompts a desperate search for the person who pulled the trigger after a 15 year old is killed in owensboro-- a neighborhood-- on edge police say --- the teen was riding a moped in the downtown area --- when he was hit by a single bullet.

And tonight --as investigators plead for anyone with information to come forward-- his family is left desperate for answers.

"there are no words for what i can say about how i feel right now, he was my heart and soul" nancy henry has been flooded with emotions- the mother of three was just blocks away - when learning the news - her middle child had been killed- "its crazy, i lost all control of all body functions that night" around 1030 saturday night owensboro police responded to a shots fired call in the 1400 block of w.

When officers arrived they found 15-year- old corbin henry on the ground with a single gunshot wound to the back!

"they would not let me see my son, i still haven't got to hold him or tell him bye and hes gone" 44news obtained this cell phone video of the crime scene just moments after the cold blooded murder took place- "there isn't one person who met him who didn't love him" according to henry family, the teenager was on the back of a moped when bystanders heard at least five gunshots ring out- "he rode three blocks holding on, i guess his friend didn't know he got shot, he was just trying to get away from the shooting, he felt corbin lean in on him and he wrecked, corbin was dead then" the driver of that moped an unidentified juvenile was taken to the hospital after being grazed with one of the bullets- he expected to survive.
