What sort of challenges would a nail tech be up against working outside?

Here at lily's nails they tell me working outsid* is not opition.

That's because the type of services they offer don't really mix well with hot weather.

So if butte county gets added to the watchlist - they plan to shut down.

You can see people are stopping by to get their nails done before another potential shutdown.

Butte couty health officials announced that the state might place the county on the watchlist because of the high numbers of cases.

This means businesses like hair and nail salons would have to stop all indoor operations again.

One nail tech i spoke with that has been working here for years says if theres another shutdown she doesnt know what's next.

"((crying))) this is my livelihood, when the governor says we have to shut down i dont get to work, when he says we have to go outside its impossible, our acrylic reacts to the heat so its impossible to work with."

//its really hard, we lose money, we cannot pay our rent."

Brooks says moving the stations outside with all of the equipment would be difficult so they will likely close down completely if we get added to the watchlist.

She tells action news now that has appreciated all of the support she has recieved from her customers since being reopen.

If we do get added to the state's monitoring list - the new restrictions would take effect on saturday.
