Water Safari delays reopening while awaiting green light from state

Enchanted Forest Water Safari has delayed reopening, after originally planning to welcome visitors on June 27.

Set to open on saturday....but late today announced that will no longer that will no longer happen.

We spoke with the owners tonight.

They say despite best efforts to prepare the park for a healthy and safe experience, the park has not yet been given the approval to open...and have no idea when they will.

Reservations have been temporarily suspended through july 5th, until they have a definitive answer from the state on when they can open.

To say this is frustrating for all involved...is clearly an understatement.

23:28:43 we have employees scheduled to come on saturday, we have working very hard to follow all the covid guidelines and put all of the safety measures in affect.

We have confident we have gotten it all right and that its safe for both guests and team members.

Its very disappointing and frustrating to get to this point on thursday night and not be able to open on saturday.

If you have existing reservations from june 27th - july 5th, you do not need to cancel your reservation, you will just need to make a new reservation with your existing tickets once the opening date is confirmed.
