Macon-Bibb Commissioners approve July 4 fireworks celebration

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Fireworks will light up the night sky over Lake Tobesofkee on Saturday, July 4.

Two items on the agenda dealt with the upcoming july 4th holiday.

Commissioners voted to approve an independence day fireworks show.

It will be saturday, july 4th, on lake tobesofkee.

The county will pay munnerlyn pyrotechnics l-l-c 15-thousand dollars to put on the show the money will come from the lake tobesofkee fund.
