Evansville police - releasing body camera footage - from a shooting and arrest on may 30th.... the initial caller identified 28- year-old andrew barnett - and reported he was waiving a gun around - at woodland park apartments.... when the first officer arrives - barnett can be seen on body cam video - running from police.... two additional officers arrived - chasing after the suspect.... one officer was then able to taze barnett.... that is when police say - the tazer was ineffective - and barnett was able to fire one shot towards the officer.... another officer then pulled their weapon - demanding barnett surrender - which he did.... however in cell phone video shared immediately following the incident - a witness mistakenly reported barnett had been shot with out reason.... Barnett is facing multiple charges - including attempted murder.... he is currently being held at the vanderburgh county jail....
