Tonight at 5 --- the bluegrass welcoming the return of more local businesses on this monday -- including gyms -- movie theaters -- and bowling alleys.

Marisa patwa gives us a glimpse inside the re-openings in kentucky-- the sound of falling pins returns-- along with fitness centers -- like the henderson ymca -- are jumping on reopening -- even if there are worries --- "cus you don't know like -- is anyone gonna show up."

And we probably had eight or so people start immediately at 7 and then they just keep continuously rolled in."

And from taking temperatures to wiping down equipment after every use -- safety can only go so far-- employees are required to wear masks.

As for customers -- "we strongly encourage it.

If they want to wear one at least into the common areas coming into the y leaving the y, the lobby.

Until you get to your work out area.

But members are always welcome to wear a mask all the time if they feel more comfortable."

And for those unable to keep up with their fitness at home they were excited to start working out again.

"i used it every day.

And it's been torture without it."

"you want to so bad and you just can't do it yet-- you have no weights no nothing.

Getting back into it feels so good.

I mean it's kind of slow, but it takes progress getting back into it."

And over the next few weeks daycare will be back at the "y" openings for other areas are pending "our social rec center is more of a social gathering area.

That one there with only a ten maximum people allowed right now under the governor's guidelines, we won't be able to stay under ten or ten or under number there so we really need that social max number to increase.".

While personal training group exercises are still on hold -- the trainers are looking forward to seeing clients face to face "it kinda be a normality.

Back to life as it was before everything happened."

And for y members worried about finances -- they'll have extra time this summer before fees are reinstated.

Reporting from henderson, marisa patwa 44news.
