44news reporter tyler druin is live in louisville with what he's learned about the shooting that's prompting even*more un-rest tonight this is day five of protests here in louisville - you can feel the emotions on the streets as this violent protest - has now turned deadly- louisville's mayor ordering police to put down their batons - as the derby city is gaining national attention- "nats of singing" tonight - emotions are brewing in louisville - a city under siege - a touching moment taking place - just steps from where a man was shot and killed by law enforcement- protesters - locking arms - with police - both sides looking for unity- " all peoples lives matter, and i just think we should address the issues, that are really going on" just after midnight - monday - louisville police - the ky national guard and kentucky state police - were breaking up a large group of protesters - at a gas station - for violating curfew 44news obtained cell phone video of the scene - you can hear one gun shot - moments later - police retuning rapid fire - nats video- shots fired shots fired" " this is not a war we don't want to make it a war, we just want some justice for the people we just wanna see, we just want to see people treated right, thats all" the man killed was david macatee - a louisville restaurant owner - well known for his bbq sandwiches- his family - grieving amid the protests- supporters standing silent - across from police - fists held high in the air- over the weekend- more than 150 people arrested for not following police orders- jason downey has joined in the protests every night - "its been anarchy young kids are getting hit with pepper spray bullets, hit with sticks, its unfair and unjust" right now - its unclear how many officers were involved in the shooting - or which agency fired the shots- ky gov.
