1 Senior Spotlight: Faith Christian Softball

The Faith Christian Eagles featured three seniors on their 2020 roster.

Christian eagles have struggled in recent years..

But head coach rocky argo was hoping this season would be a little different..

The eagles 2020 roster featured 3 seniors.

Casey baird started at catcher for the eagles, she also spent some time at first and second base... baird is planning on attending purdue in the fall.

She will become a member of the honors program there while studying biomechanical engineering.

Emily gallbreth played at the corners and filled in as a pitcher.

She's headed to muncie to study nursing at ball state.

And finally maria smith played all over the field in a utility role..

Smith will attend cedarville university in ohio this fall to study mechanical engineering.

Coach argo said these three were the motor that kept his program running..

Rochy: these 3 seniors were the only 3 on my team that had a driver's license.

We don't have buses at faith so when we had morning practices at 6 o'clock... at around 7 o'clock they would be making the starbucks run.

We can talk about leadership all we want, but being a servant...that's where it really matters.

With a young group like us we needed some maturity...and these three girls brought a lot of maturity.

But their legacy, i think, is going to be servantship.

They served very very well for faith christian school.
