After a high-speed chase ended in a crash in west eugene this morning.

Oregon state police say the driver of a stolen car drove into the water off of highway 1-26 between veneta and walton.

Witnesses say a man got out of the car and got into a*second stolen car -- that pulled up right behind him.

Troopers say they found the car speeding at 100 miles per hour near junction city and pursued.

The driver allegedly fired a b-b handgun at the troopers.

Officials say the chase came to an end when the driver crashed into another car on beacon drive in west eugene.

"the front end on the passenger side was hauled off pretty bad and there was a young man that was brough past me on a stretcher loaded into an ambulance, as i was speaking to the police officer.

He looked unconscious."

Zachary silver and travis ny-man-- both from eugene-- allegedly tried to run away --- but were taken into custody on various charges.
