Taylor Hemness' barber shared what life has been like trying to get back to work.

ON SATURDAY, I GOT APROFESSIONAL HAIRCUTFOR THE FIRST TIME INTWO MONTHS.THE LAST TIME I SAW MYBARBER, SHE WASGUIDING MY WIFE AND ITHROUGH AN AT-HOMETRIM OVER FACETIME, AMONTH AGO.I SPOKE WITH HER ABOUTGETTING BACK INTO THESWING OF THINGS.did you have anybody else dothat with you that called andsaid hey, walk me through thiswith me?yes, i did.

I think the biggestchallenge was people nothaving the right equipment. He requires people to wearmasks. When you come in and wehave a sign that says handsanitizer.

And also there's asign on door that says do notcome past this point without amath official I'm holding themask right there.

Yep, sure.Do you want me to take yoursideburns a little bit shorter.Yes, please.Did you apply for any kind ofloan or an SBA loan camethrough pretty quickly, thePPP loan, felt like it took forever.

But we finally got it allmy employees got their firstpaycheck from the PPP funds. So that's been such a relief. But I'm not like one of thosebigger companies I wasn'tasking for like $25,000, I wasjust asking for enough to likeget us through two months.I'm so appreciative for thegovernment, allowing us tohave those funds because Imean, it's what kept us afloatit's what's been able to let mepay my rent and what I'vebeen able to keep my stylistand my employees here Imean, they're struggling justas much as I am.

Do you thinkpeople have a biggerappreciation for stylists andbarbers now.

Oh, I hope so, Ithink so.

I mean, I do.Did you really miss somepeople said yes.And it's just you know it's notthe same thing over and over Ithink everybody has a differentshape of head everybody hasdifferent hair textureeverybody has a different stylethey want to do or a differentproduct they use and it's, it'sso diverse so it's it's notmundane it's not the samething over and over again. This mask is not comfortable. It is not something that weenjoy.

It's suffocating.

It'sconstricting.

That's what ittakes, in order for us to keepour businesses open.

Itdoesn't bother me.
