After Gov.

Andrew Cuomo announced certain regional hospitals could resume elective surgeries, MHVS and RMH prepare while Bassett looks for clarification.

Upstate counties, including oneida and herkimer, to resume elective surgeries.

--a huge relief to hospital systems expecting to lose tens of millions of dollars because of the cancellation of these procedures.

But -- in a change from last week's announcement..... otsego county is not given the green light by the governor.

Last week... the governor said otsego county hospitals, which includes bassett health care network, would be able to resume elective surgeries.

Today.... no mention.

Bassett is not sure if this is an oversight.

They've reached out to state officials for clarification and are waiting to hear back.

In oneida county, mvhs, last week, told newschannel two that it would take a week or two.....to restart these procedures.

Mvhs was expecting to lose 31 million dollars from the end of march through may because of the cancellation of these procedures.
