Patients can be evaluated for coronavirus in the new triage tents at MVHS.

Tents outside st.

Elizabeth and st.

Luke's campuses.

Mvhs built these tents meant to evaluate patients with respiratory symptoms... to possibly test them for covid-19... and minimize their exposure to others in the emergency department, if they need to go inside.

This past weekend... doctors and nurses here were told that the tents are needed emergency department officials say they don't want sick people to wait until they're deathly ill to go to the emergency room.

They want all patients to feel safe coming to get the care they need... when they need it.
