Utica College men's ice hockey team featured on ESPN

The Pioneers and their senior class were recognized on ESPN's "Senior Night" segment.

Gary heenan: i woke up this morning and i had already had a couple of calls letting me know that we were on so there was some hoop law about it and it was exciting so i clicked on the link and certainly for the college it's awesome.

For our program, we quickly sent that off to our hot list of recruits but more importantly to have those for seniors get their names mentioned on espn and a show a picture of those four guys it lessens the blow of having our season cut short, and puts a little good feeling into those four guys.

So i'm really happy for those four guys, we zipped it off to their parent group and it put a smile on our faces today for sure congrats to coach heenan - joey - daniel - jarrod and gianluca - as well as the rest of the pioneers on a fantastic year.

We're working on hearing from those four seniors directly later in the week.
