New details -- lawrence county is making employees who can't workremotely work in separate shifts to lessen the number of people who have to be around each other.

There was no opposition to this new way of doing things for county employees.
County commissioner bobby burch told waay31 the county has been under a local state of emergency since last tuesday, meaning all public buildings are closed and all county businesses has moved online or over the phone.
Burch said commissioners consulted with department heads over the new staffing shifts.
The department heads felt like this was best in case an employee got infected so that way you don't have to close the entire office and you can continue working at a certain pace.
Burch said these changes will take effect immediately.
