Birthday parade

5-year-old New Hartford boy gets a parade for his birthday

A special way this afternoon.

He had his very own birthday parade.

Five year old todd toomey was unable to have a birthday party this year because of the coronavirus.

So family and friends presented him with a very special birthday parade.

They drove by his house honking horns and holding up happy birthday signs.

Todd is a big fan of firetrucks so members of the new hartford fire department and other first responders also participated.

"i felt bad that we had to cancel todd's birthday party last week so i got the idea to go on facebook and ask our friends and family if they'd be willing to participate in a little parade today since we can't see anyone."

"it's a difficult time for everybody, from first responders to just the normal public.we all have to do our part to keep everybody sane, healthy and happy."
