This morning, an employee at the leestown road kroger has been diagnosed with the coronavirus, according to the lexington herald leader.

In a statement to the herald leader, kroger says it has followed all sanitation procedures and has spoke with other store employees.

The paper says that store location will remain open.

Kroger says the employee diagnosed is receiving medical treatment and recovering.

And fayette county public schools say an employee involved in delivering meals to kids...has also tested positive for coronavirus.

Because of that...the district says it will no longer be able to offer meal delivery to bus stops in the community.

Fayette county schools says the health department believes the risk of exposure to other staff and kids is low.

The district says today and friday, meals will only be available at certain schools.

### another person has died from the coronavirus in kentucky.

According to governor andy beshear..

That person was a 75- year-old man from jefferson county.

He's the 5th in the state to die after catching covid-19.

Beshear says there were also other factors that contributed to the man's death.

There are now a total of at least 198 confirmed cases in kentucky.

The governor says one of the cases, includes someone who went on spring break to florida, and came back with the virus.

"we're in the middle of a wordwide health pandemic, the answer is no, we can't go on spring break.

--butted--- "the next couple of weeks, are going to be some of the most critical that we face, and our decision to do the right thing, to not go on spring break and bring the coronavirus back, to make sure that we are following all the recommendation and to limit our contacts even further, to see somebody we might know in the grocery store, and only wave from 6 feet away cause we know rignt now, rignt now is the time where we've got to do everything not to spread this coronvavirus, if we all do this, we will protect so many people around us.

Governor andy beshear also says c1 3 unemployment benefits are now available for more people.

Independent contractors, small businesses owners, substitute teachers, church child-care workers, cosmetologists and anyone else who's had to leave work because of the coronavirus in the state are now qualified to file.

You can follow the new state schedule to file by the first letter of your last name.

If your day has already passed this week..

You can file today.

And beginning next week, the state will have its first facility for drive- thru coronavirus testing.

According to governor beshear.... it will start on monday..

But will be limited to people showing symptoms. a couple more sites will also be added and could be extended from there.
