THEREIS GROUP ON KENT ISLAND THATIS HELPING OUT IN QUEEN ANNE'SCOUNTY WMAR 2 NEWS' DONHARRISON TELLS US ABOUTPROGRAM WHERE EVERYONE WINS.stand up open: When schoolsclosed down here in QueenAnne's county that left a voidfor students who get freelunches.

Well, there's a groupthat wants to fill that void.nats: Track: Justin Davis,Lauren Huffman and friends areloading up lunches to be takento school kids in Queen Anne'scounty.

They have done thissince schools closed down.Right now they load 500lunches every day to deliverto those in need directly totheir houses.

Parents can cometo the schools now to getlunches but some people can'tget to the schools.

Sot: A lotof them don't havetransportation to get to theschools, others their parentsare considered essentialemployees and are working andnot home to take them toschool.

Nats: Sot: Right nowwe have families driving 25miles just to get a bag lunch.Track: So far they have threedrop off places.

Sot: Carminesin Stevensville, Kent IslandUnited Methodist Church andMama Mia's in Centreville.nats: Track: Here's the workcrew at Lauren's house.

It's apretty diverse work force.Nats: so we range from 6 allthe way up to 20.

Track:Lauren is doing this to helpthe community but it goes alittle deeper than that.

Sot:I think that this wasimportant.

My kids used to bea part of a program like thiswhen before as soon as Ibecame divorced and so Ithought it was necessary tojump in and help.

Track: Thereare other benifits from thisthen just helping those whereyou live.

Sot: It feels reallygood and it's teaching my kidsa really valuable lesson thatthey need to help out and tohelp out people in need.Track: The schools may beclosed in Queen Anne's countybut these kids may be learningtheir most important lessonthis year, they importance ofhelping your neighbor.
